It holds 6 batteries up to the 9AH size which is somewhat large, including the newer DeWALT “Power Stack” batteries which are wider and longer than their normal batteries, even more-so than the large 9AH 20VMax. Enough spacing is provided to install six of the largest batteries side-by-side. The holder is “latching” meaning the battery latch engages, keeping them from sliding out.
